Sofia on Tourism

My favourite place in Barcelona is Pg. de Gràcia because there are a lot of shops and a few places to spend some time with friends.
I think the tourists come to Barcelona because we did an important celebration 15 years ago called: The Olympic games, because all the monuments that Gaudí did like the Sagrada familia, the park Güell, etc. the history, the variety of the food, the fashion and of course because this is a beautiful city.
Most of the tourists that come to Barcelona are from china or Japan, and of course in Barcelona come people from Europe like French people, or English or German people when they are young people, students, they came to visit the city and also for learn Spanish, and when they are more old they specially come for visit the city and learn the history.
There are some advantages of tourism to the city, it makes the economy grow, and makes us to learn other cultures. But also there are disadvantages; all the tourists make a lot of pollution and this is not good for us and for the city. They should behave themselves and don’t be drunk, rude, dirty and noisy.
